Who We Are

I bring over 25 years of hands-on experience in the fire service and more than 25 years working on boats and marine engines. Throughout my career, I have worked directly with emergency response vessels and recreational boats, performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep them safe, reliable, and mission-ready. My background combines real-world mechanical skill with a strong understanding of safety, reliability, and accountability.

In addition to working on individual boats, I have managed and maintained a fleet of vessels. This included scheduling preventative maintenance, overseeing repairs, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring each boat was ready for operation when needed. Managing a fleet taught me how important attention to detail and preventive care are in avoiding costly breakdowns and downtime.

I have also served as a boat operations and maintenance instructor, training other firefighters how to operate, maintain, and repair boats and motors. Teaching others requires a deep understanding of marine systems and the ability to explain repairs clearly and correctly. My customers benefit from this experience because I don’t just fix problems—I understand why they happen and how to prevent them in the future.
